What is Colibri’ Massage & FST?

We are a result and performance based functional massage therapy focused on relieving painful conditions which affect the soft tissues of the body by identifying and releasing restrictions within the myofascial and craniosacral systems.

Colibri’ Massage integrates a range of techniques including, but not limited to, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, neuromuscular techniques and FST (Fascial Stretch Therapy), as well as specific client home care with the goal of normalizing the soft tissues of the body. Our treatment strategies are developed with facial plains and patterns in mind seeking structural balance through soft tissue manipulation for each individual.

What is FST?

FST, or Fascial Stretch Therapy, is a unique system of assisted stretch therapy that improves mobility by lengthening fascia, increasing joint space, hydration and range of motion resulting in improved muscular function.

What is fascia?

Fascia is the biological fabric that holds us together. Think of one muscle partitioned into hundreds of pockets of fishnet like stockings, or a fibrous gluey spider web. Ida Rolf called it the organ of structure and movement. It defines our movement and contour of the body.
